Khuê Văn Các, the Pavilion of the Constellation of Literature, stands inside the Temple of Literature, home of Vietnam's first university. Its curved roof and round window have become the symbol of Hanoi.
We put that roof on a bánh mì cart, so every sandwich comes with a piece of Hanoi you can carry in your hand.
Bánh mì simply means "bread". The French brought the baguette; Hanoi made it its own, with a thin, crackling crust and fillings that belong to this city. Ô Bánh Mì keeps that tradition and serves it the way a modern Hanoi would.

A bronze bell's long note, the sound of calm in a busy city.
